Increased Authentication

For enhanced security in online banking we have implemented Increased Authentication to the MemberDirect login process.

Increased Authentication offers additional security to online banking and reduces the potential for online fraud. With Increased Authentication you select three challenge questions which only you know the answers to. When you login to online banking you will be asked to answer one of your challenge questions.

You can also choose to register trusted computers. When you login with a trusted computer you do not have to answer a security question. However, if you login from an unregistered computer, you will have to answer one of your chosen security questions.

Do I Have To Enrol In Increased Authentication?

Yes. In order to ensure the integrity and safety of our online banking services, all members who use online banking must enrol for Increased Authentication. It is simple and straight forward to set up and consists of creating answers to three challenge questions.
